2. Unlimited photos taken! Since we do not have the cost of film & film processing, we can take from 400 to 2,000 pictures (depending on the size of wedding) and pass the savings on to you.
3. You select the Best of the Best for your prints! We sort through the pictures to save you time, and you choose your favorites to be printed in your package, so you will not be paying for duplicates or photos you do not want.
4. Special Effects & Enhancements are available because we use Photoshop CS, the best editing software for digital photography! Black & white with color, collages, and enhancements such as whitening of teeth, removal of acne, and of course adjusting the lightness/darkness of photos and cropping them to look their best for you.
5. We can photograph you in low-light conditions common to many churches and wedding receptions because we can adjust our ISO speed with the click of a button instead of changing film, we have a powerful professional flash, plus we can lighten the photos on the computer afterwards!
6. Immediate feedback and adjustments with digital photography! We look at the "test photo" to see if adjustments need to be made immediately for correct exposure, whereas with film you have to wait until after the fact to get the film back from the lab!
7. Safety of photographs with backup! We download the photos onto the computer and save them to backup CD's before erasing them off of the memory chips. We also save the photos again after sorting them and again after editing them, so we have several copies of your wedding photographs on CD's. With film which many other photographers use, if the photo lab messes it up, or if it's lost in the mail, there are no backup copies.
8. Digital photography is the least disruptive during your wedding ceremony, since there will be no noisy camera rewinding or changing of film. One memory chip holds over 200 photos, plenty enough to cover the ceremony. And we put fresh batteries in before the ceremony starts, so there is no need to change them either.
